Business terms

By registering as a shipper, carrier (including owner-driver), depot hirer or depot driver you agree to these terms of business for Drivers2Day.

Load marketplace

  • Posting: Shippers warrant that load details (collection, delivery, goods, vehicle class, timing) are accurate and lawful to move.
  • Quoting: Carrier quotes are sealed. Submitting a quote is an offer to perform the load at the stated price, subject to award by the shipper.
  • Award: When the shipper awards a quote, a booking is formed. A platform booking fee (currently 5% of the awarded amount) is charged; there is no membership fee. Fee schedule: Pricing.
  • Performance: Carrier and shipper must update job status in good faith, use the job room for operational messages, and complete delivery (including POD notes where requested). Ratings should reflect the job fairly.
  • Payouts: Awarded amounts may be credited to the carrier wallet. Withdrawals are subject to a withdrawal fee and normal anti-fraud checks.
  • Role of Drivers2Day: We provide the marketplace and related tools. We are not the contracting carrier of the goods unless separately agreed in writing.

Depot driver hire

  • Hirers provide the vehicle. Drivers accept or reject booking requests within the stated window (typically around 12 hours). Site start and end codes record hours on site.
  • Payment schedules for completed depot hire follow the invoicing and payout process notified on the platform. Booking fees may apply on confirmed hire under the same no-membership model.

General

Platform rules in our Policies form part of these terms. We may suspend accounts that breach quoting integrity, safety or payment obligations. A downloadable terms PDF will be linked here; until then, contact contactus@drivers2day.co.uk for the current pack.
